Mr. Cox

My name is Stephen Cox  and this is my 5th Year teaching AP US History, Government/Economics, Psychology/Sociology, and Business Law & Ethics at Edinburgh High School. Before teaching at Edinburgh I taught at Carter Christian Academy while in graduate school in Grayson, KY, I was an adjunct professor of ministry at Mid South Christian College in Memphis, TN, taught 5th grade social studies at SENSE in Fountain Square, and taught middle school social studies at Super School in the Near Southside of Indy.

I LOVE being a Lancer and living in Edinburgh! I help coach Varsity Football by working with the athletes on their academics as well as overseeing the managers. I help coach Varsity Softball, Social Studies Academic Team, and I am the Senior Class Sponsor. I have a B.A. from Kent State University, an M.A. from Kentucky Christian University, and received my Transition to Teaching certificate from Taylor University.

In between grad school and teaching at SENSE, I spent 13 years in youth & discipleship ministry in Bellville, IL; Dennison, OH; Memphis, TN, and Franklin, IN.

My wife Kimberly and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage in July 2024! We have two awesome kiddos, Eloise who is a Sophomore here at EHS and Hunter who is in 3rd Grade at East Side.
