Mrs. O'Brien

Hello! My name is Rachel O’Brien, and I am currently in my 16th year of teaching at Edinburgh Middle School. I teach sixth grade Science & Social Studies which I enjoy very much!  I graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Mild Interventions Endorsement. I am also the high school Head Coach for the JV/Varsity Girls Tennis team.  My husband, Jon Michael and I have been married for seven years, and we have an adorable tabby cat named Benny. When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy traveling with my husband, visiting my family, gardening, shopping, trying new restaurants, visiting small coffee shops, working on home projects, and watching reality television.
