Mr. Jordan
My name is Tim Jordan. I graduated from Indiana State University in 1992 and 1994 with 2 Bachelor Degrees (double major) in Physical Education and Health Education and an endorsement in Driver Education. I played defensive tackle for ISU Football from '87 to '91. I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Administration and earned my Principal's License in 1999 from Eastern Illinois University. I started my teaching career in Southern Illinois in Mount Vernon in 1994. I have been back in Indiana since 2001 as an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Southwestern (Shelby), North Decatur, and I came to Edinburgh in 2007. I have been teaching PE here since 2013. Outside of school, I teach Driver Ed a few nights a week.
I married Raye Lynn in 2001 and we have 2 children in the Southport School System. I also have an older daughter that lives in southern Illinois. I spend the winter sports season working as the Team Manager for my son's high school ice hockey team (South Stars). I also enjoy spending time with my family as much as possible. I also play guitar (currently have 5 and looking to add 2 more) for my own enjoyment. I like many different types of music that range from Metallica to Mozart and back to Tom Petty.
