Student of the Month- Automation & Robotics
Meet Skylar, our Automation and Robotics Student of the Month! His teacher shares that he brings a strong work ethic and a consistently positive attitude to class. He shows up everyday ready to learn, jumps right into electronics projects, and demonstrates impressive perseverance when troubleshooting. He's also the first to help classmates when they run into questions or challenges.
Skylar is a senior at Edinburgh and has always been fascinated by the technology side of the world. The curiosity is what led him to the Automation and Robotics pathway- a field he believes represents the future. He especially enjoys the hands-on work and understanding the process behind howe systems operate.
After high school, Skylar plans to attend Purdue Polytechnic to continue studying technology. His favorite project so far has been building a radio and learning the mechanical process behind it.
Outside of class, he loves spending time with his family, fishing, and playing video games with friends. A fun fact about Skylar: he has a strong interest in space and astronomy, something he's been fascinated with since elementary school.
Congrats Skylar!
