This Friday, our home girls basketball game will be the inaugural Torrie Perry Night, honoring 1995 Edinburgh graduate Torrie Perry.

Torrie was a standout athlete for the Lancers, lettering in 3 varsity sports. She was the first 1,000 point scorer for Edinburgh in girls basketball and was an All-State candidate going into her senior year. Her exemplary work ethic, leadership, and being a model teammate made her an example of what an outstanding student athlete is. In 2001, Torrie was diagnosed with breast cancer, and lost her life in 2019 after battling the disease for 18 years.

Friday night, we will honor the legacy of Torrie by awarding the inaugural Torrie Perry Scholarship, as well as wearing pink jerseys to honor her and everyone fighting breast cancer. We ask that you please wear pink on Friday in support and pack the Lancer Gym to support the girls basketball team. JV will start at 6 PM with Varsity to follow.
